  1. Wash hands thoroughly with anti-bacterial soap and hot water for 20 seconds min.

  2. Pre-Disinfect and/or Sterilize instruments and store in COVERED container.

  3. Clean linens or disposable towel under model/client’s head.

  4. Disposable items used only once (not re-used if dropped). This includes microswabs, cotton rounds/squares, spoolies/mascara wands, flocked applicators, Q-Tips, under eye pads and the like.

  5. Clean barrier on workstation.

  6. Unused tile and fresh lashes from original and covered container. Lash artist may NOT work out of a tray. Must use a separate disinfected/sterilized tweezer to remove strip from tray.

  7. Disinfected or disposable adhesive surface.

  8. Wear a facemask.

  9. Long hair pulled back.

  10. Sanitize hands as needed with ½ tsp of alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Rub until all surfaces have been covered. (I.E. after touching cell phone, rubbing nose or picking up an item which fell on ground)

  11. Do not “de-tack” tape on skin.

  12. Apply under eye covering approx. 1 mm from lower lid membrane.

  13. Apply eyelash extension approx. 1mm from lid and never touching skin with adhesive or extension.

  14. Gentle pressure when resting on model/client’s face and eyes.

  15. Saline Solution stored on workstation.
